ALMAR ORCHARD is a family-oriented fourth generation owned produce and livestock farm. It's 250 sprawling acres of organic and conventional grown fruit and vegetables, maple wood lots and pastures are truly a sight to see in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Jim and Karen Koan, son and daughter-in-law of Albert and Albert Koan, have spent their lives in dedication to providing the best fruits and vegetables that can be found in the mid-Michigan area.

Jim Koan, is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a member of the Board of Directors of many Agricultural Committees both throughout the State and County.

His wife, Karen, is a substitute teacher and organizer of many tours and programs provided to students and specialty groups that visit the Orchard throughout the year.

ALMAR ORCHARD is open seven days a week year-round.

Come visit us and enjoy some hot-spiced cider and donuts in the Fall and Winter, and cider and fruit-slush in the Summer. Our hard cider is an all-year favorite.

There's always something to do for kids of all ages. Enjoy the Petting Zoo, Hayrides, shop in our Fresh Produce Market, or simply come out to relax and enjoy a slice of olde-time American Farm Life.
